I’m closing my in-person office at the end of this month, but thanks to the magic of the internet I’m not closing my business. I’m grateful I can continue to do something I love, which is find weird and creative ways to outsmart pain.

Over the past decade, I built a business dedicated to treating chronic pain and injuries using methods I personally developed and tested as a wannabe athlete with chronic back pain.

This expertise is known as intellectual property, or simply IP.

IP is the genius shit you know - and people are willing to pay you for it!

And it’s probably stuff that comes so easily, you don’t even think it’s genius.

Trust me…it is!

In simple terms, IP refers to any creative asset, innovation, or knowledge that’s uniquely yours.

IP is a hidden gem because it can become an asset with its own potential revenue streams.

How do you monetize IP? 

Once you recognize your knowledge and methods as IP, there are many ways to monetize it without needing a physical product or hands-on work. Here are a few paths:

Licensing: Offer others the rights to use your method or product for a fee. Licensing your IP allows other businesses or individuals to benefit from your expertise while you earn a passive income from your knowledge.

Courses and Digital Products: Transform your IP into digital courses, guides, or e-books. This model lets you reach a larger audience and scale your impact without needing to be physically present.

Consulting and Speaking Engagements: Your IP makes you an expert in your field. Businesses and organizations may pay you for your insights, either through one-on-one consulting, group workshops, or speaking engagements.

Subscription-Based Models or Memberships: Offer ongoing access to your IP through a subscription model where users can access premium knowledge, receive updates, or participate in communities that share similar goals.

I’m going to focus on the last one and build an AI model trained on my IP that I can charge users a fee to access.

And as a subscriber, you’ll be able to see behind the scenes of this entire process.

Who knows, you may decide to launch your own IP product!
